40 Days in the Word

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. –Psalm 119:105

As we approach Resurrection Day, I’m wanting to be more intentional about reflecting upon Who Jesus is and what He has done for me. Many years ago, I was asked to write a daily reflection on Scripture and a prayer for the 40 days leading up to Easter, or what I prefer to call Resurrection Day. When I completed the 40 days of these reflections on Scripture and prayer, I realized I had a book. I published this book over 14 years ago.  However, this year, I felt the Lord prompting me to take it out and read again what the Lord revealed to me through His Word and that sweet time of fellowship I had with Him as I wrote the entries.

Starting Wednesday, February 18, I will be posting an entry each day (except Sundays), leading up to Resurrection Day on April 5, 2026 this year on my blog.  I’d love for people to join in this journey with me as we explore how much God loves us and to what lengths He went to in order to give abundant life - now and forever.
