Day 15 - 40 Days in the Word: God will remember our sins no more

No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” --Jeremiah 31:34 (NKJV)

There will come a time when every knee will bow before Jesus and every tongue shall confess to God that Jesus Christ is Lord.  How wonderful that Jesus Christ already gained victory for us over death and this world and because of this, our sins will not be remembered by Him. As we look towards the coming of our Savior, it is crucially important that we give everyone the chance to know about God’s redemption through His Son. Jesus said that we are to love the Lord our God with all are our heart, with all our mind and will all our soul and to love our neighbor as ourselves.  What better way to love others than to point them to the One who is love?

Prayer:  Father, we look forward to that day when every knee will bow before You and give Jesus, our King, the honor that He deserves.  We ask that You would give us a boldness to preach Your gospel to this hurting world.  We know that it’s not Your will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.  Thank You for the honor of being part of Your Kingdom work. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
