Day 4 - 40 Days in the Word

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life - John 3:16.  For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God - 1 Peter 3:18.  

What an amazing thing!  God loves us so much that He gave us His one and only Son, and all He asks is that we believe in Him!  Our perfect Lord, righteous and completely holy, suffered for our sins so that we could be brought to God.  What other story in all of humanity compares to this?  What other religion offers this?

Prayer:  Wonderful, amazing, God!  How blessed are we that our Creator is so loving and merciful!  We fall on our knees in awe and praise of You!  Thank You for the greatest gift to mankind - Your precious Son!  We thank You that through Him we will have eternal life. In Jesus' most holy name we pray, Amen.
